AI implementation vs Salesforce einstein — built across your systems or bought inside one

Salesforce einstein (and agentforce) is the AI layer for the Salesforce stack. Stennir's AI implementation is a different kind of buy: one workflow built across your systems, live with real users, in Arabic and English, hosted where your data must stay, then run for you as managed AI operations. Both serve operators who want AI inside their workflows. The question is whether the work lives inside one vendor's data model or across several systems.

What Salesforce einstein is good at

If you're already deep in Salesforce — CRM as your system of record, sales cloud + service cloud + commerce cloud running your operations — einstein adds the AI layer with minimal new architecture. Predictions, scoring, agent assist, and now agentforce-style action-taking, all inside the data model you already trust.

The wedge is incumbency. You're not adding a vendor; you're adding capability to a vendor you already pay.

What AI implementation is good at

AI implementation is the answer when the work you want to automate doesn't sit inside one system: a WhatsApp agent in Arabic wired to a booking system and a CRM, invoices read and filed into an ERP, a weekly report pulled from three systems. One workflow, live with real users, with evaluations in Arabic and English and a hosting region named in the contract.

Then we run it as managed AI operations: monitoring, an evaluation report and improvements every month, with a named owner on our side. The trade-off is you're adding a vendor. You're buying a workflow built to your operations, not a capability inside a platform you already pay for.

When einstein wins

You're already deep in the Salesforce stack. The work parametrizes within their data model (lead scoring, opportunity prediction, agent assist in service cloud). You have a Salesforce admin team that can configure and maintain. You're optimizing the operations you have, not building new ones.

When AI implementation wins

The workflow spans several systems, not one: CRM plus ERP, ticketing, billing and WhatsApp. You need Arabic and English evaluated on real messages, and a hosting region written into the contract. You don't have the people to run and improve it over time and want that done for you. Or you've had licences or a pilot that never reached a measurable result.

The hybrid that often makes sense

An AI implementation usually works with Salesforce (or HubSpot, or netsuite) rather than replacing it. The data layer stays where it is, and the workflow runs across your systems, Salesforce included. For a Salesforce shop, the usual shape is Salesforce as the system of record and the workflow built around it.

If einstein already covers a workflow, the AI opportunity audit can say so. It ranks workflows by value, risk and effort, and not every one needs a custom build.

Werdykt

Gdzie pasujemy, a gdzie nie

Jesteśmy

A workflow built across your systems and run for you, with Salesforce kept as your system of record.

Nie jesteśmy

A bolt-on inside an incumbent's data model, and not software you subscribe to. There is no platform to buy: we build and run a workflow in your operations.

Pytania

What about Microsoft Copilot for [function] or Google vertex AI?

Same shape as einstein — AI layered on top of an incumbent stack (Microsoft 365, Google cloud). Einstein is the most cited because of Salesforce's footprint, but the comparison applies to all horizontal incumbents.

What if we already use Salesforce — do we have to leave?

No. Salesforce stays your system of record. The workflow is built around it, and integrations are scoped in the build.

How do the terms compare with einstein?

Stennir agrees scope and commercial terms for the build and for managed AI operations in writing on a 30-minute call. Einstein's pricing is Salesforce's to quote, so ask your account team. The right comparison isn't list against list. It's the total cost of the workflow running vs the cost of the bolt-on plus the time your team spends working around it.

What about builder.ai-style "we built your app with AI"?

Builder.ai collapsed in 2025 amid fraud allegations. It claimed AI was building apps, and the work turned out to be done by people. Buyers in this market are right to ask what is automated and what a person does. On a Stennir build we say which steps the workflow does by itself and where a person approves, and you see the evaluation scores as the build progresses.
